Shipping and Returns Policy

Processing Times

‍ Every Bert-Day Banner is made by hand to order. Please allow:

  • ‍ Pre-order banners: made and shipped within your chosen pre-order round. If you need your banner for an October event, join the September (or earlier) pre-order round to allow time for production and delivery. OR order with a Rush Fee to have your item made within a week.

  • Ready Made banners: ship within 1-3 business days of your order.

  • Add-ons (names, extra elements): made alongside your banner order — no separate wait time.

  • Custom banners: timeline is confirmed individually once your enquiry is accepted, based on current workload.

‍ Shipping

  • We ship within Australia via Australia Post. All orders are sent with standard shipping, but rush orders are sent with Express.

  • Shipping cost: $16 flat rate AUS WIDE

  • We currently ship internationally to NZ, UK, Ireland and USA. Shipping prices subject to change based on tariffs and rates.

  • Shipping to the USA: orders are subject to additional customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by US customs on arrival. These are set by the US government, not by us, and are the buyer's responsibility to pay. This will be reflected in your shipping costs.

  • You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.

  • Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we aren't able to cover the cost of re-sending items returned to us due to an incorrect address.

Returns & Exchanges

‍ All sales are final. As every banner is handmade to order and many are personalised (names, custom colours, custom elements), we do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind.

‍ ‍Please note: this doesn't affect your consumer guarantee rights — if your item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or significantly different from what you ordered, you're still entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. In that case, contact us at bertshandmade@gmail.com within [7] days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll sort out a repair, replacement, or refund.
